Background/Credentials

Dr. Malick is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Science ('78) and the School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD '82).

After dental school, he completed a one-year general practice residency in the U.S. Army Dental Corps and was on active duty for four years and reserve duty for five. During his military career, he received the Army Commendation Medal and resigned in the rank of Major.

Dr. Malick has been published twice in the Academy of General Dentistry journal and has had consumer articles published in various newspapers.

Fellow: Dr. Malick was awarded the prestigious " Fellowship " status in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in recognition of his commitment to continuing education. Only 1% of dentists have achieved this status.

Public Service

Dr Malick has lectured at several Bay Area hospitals' family care programs and at various public schools. He was also the California Dental Association spokesman for " The Dangers of Smokeless Tobacco ". He also served as an instructor for the " Role Model " program in the San Jose School District.
